I am presenting, with Michael Messner (Session 6C) on the limits and impacts of the  "Gender in Televised Sports Report", most recently published as "One and Done" The Long Eclipse of Women's Sports, 1989-2019 in Communication & Sport (Cooky, Council, Mears, & Messner, 2021). I also will be speaking on a panel on governance in women's sports (Session 8D).

I recently published, with co-author Dunja Antunovic, a book titled Serving Equality: Feminism, Media and Women's Sports (Peter Lang Publishers, 2022).
